Andrew started in 1999 as an apprentice and worked up through all the ranks, to a General Foreman managing 16 street light crews, working his way up to Regional Vice President of our Southern Division in 2013 to current. Now managing over 400 employees in installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical power lines and telephone communications. Andrew oversees all of the daily operations at the Texas office, which include but are not limited to preparation, approval, and review of annual contracts and bid jobs, development of budget & monitoring expenditures, purchasing and replacement of equipment, and other inventory.
Tim has been employed with MP since 1993, starting as a laborer working his way up to Regional Vice President of MP Technologies Northern Division. In his many years with MP, Tim has worked in multiple markets within the industry, including: communications, power, wind, solar, and gas. While working in these markets, he has managed hundreds employees in installation, operations, maintenance and repair of overhead and underground electrical power lines and telephone communications. Tim also manages daily operations of his employees and projects. These include, but aren’t limited to; preparation, approval and review of annual contracts and bid jobs, purchasing and replacement of equipment, tools, and other inventory, and successful management and completion of large projects.
Chad joined MP Technologies in 2008 during the storm restoration for Hurricane Ike. He started as a Groundman and worked his way through the Apprenticeship and into management taking the role of Electrical Operations Manager in 2013. He works with our employees from the field as well as various management positions within our client base. Chad provides unique insight into our daily operations due to his business background, but still understands the field personnel’s perspective. He has overseen major growth in his sector moving from $33M in revenue in 2013 to almost $100M in 2015.
Cory has 24 years of experience in the underground utility installation industry. He has been employed at MP since 1993 starting as a labor and worked his way up through the ranks as an operator, foreman, supervisor, and to currently Project Manager. In 2008 he became a Project Manager for the Wind Division within MP Technologies Northern Branch. He has managed large projects in the communications, wind, solar, and power industries.
Bill has been employed with MP since 2010, serving as the Safety Manager in our Texas Division. Bill oversees all aspects of safety for Overhead Distribution, Residential Underground Utilities, Major Underground Utilities, & Telecommunications. Bill has over 36 years in Safety Management with 26 of those years in Utility Construction. He is an OSHA certified Train the Trainer in OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 and numerous other OSHA standards.
Steve started with MP in April of this year as a Regional Manager-Northern Division. Prior to joining MP he worked at Xcel Energy for 35 plus years. Steve started his career as a ground man in the St. Paul area and then as a Journeyman Lineman. He was in the field as a Lineman for 18 years and then moved into a Supervisor position. From there he advanced to a Manager for about 12 years and finished my last 3 plus years as a Director of Gas, Electric, and Design operations in the St. Paul region.
Charles started at MP in 2015. Prior to joining MP, he has 37 years’ experience in the electric utility industry. 25 years as a Journeyman Lineman, and 12 years as the Utility Operations manager for the City of River Falls, WI. He has a degree in Electrical Power Distribution, and educational background in Business Administration and Technical Science.
